The 31st DMA & DAA Awards Ceremony was held on June 29, 2023. Receiving the highest recognition and accolades from industry peers for his outstanding contributions in the insurance industry, Jeff, our Chief Agency Officer of FWD Hong Kong and Macau, was honored with the prestigious LUAHK “Industry Achievement Award” this year. Besides, attributed to FWD’s excellent agency development model, continuous team expansion, achievement of leading market share and outstanding business performance, FWD has 14 elite agents honored with the Distinguished Manager Award (DMA), Distinguished Young Manager Award (DYMA), Distinguished Agent Award (DAA) or Distinguished Agent Award (DYAA).

Mr. Jeff Wong honored with the “Industry Achievement Award”

The candidates for the “Industry Achievement Award” by LUAHK are nominated by the Association’s Executive Committee and former presidents. Among the nominations, the judging committee selects only one winner, who must be a member of the LUAHK, have over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and possess outstanding industry achievements and contributions. This award ceremony coincided with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the LUAHK, which was of special significance to Mr. Jeff Wong’s award.

Jeff has dedicated over 30 years to the Hong Kong insurance industry. Since joining FWD in 2018, he has been leading the agency distribution channel and contributing to the significant business expansion and performance growth of FWD Hong Kong and Macau. In addition to his role at FWD, Jeff has been a tutor for various professional certificate courses and serves important roles in the insurance industry’s regulatory and advisory committees, as well as actively sharing his professional knowledge and successful experiences. He manifests his devotion to the Hong Kong insurance industry by leading business operations and talent development. He serves as a role model, leading insurance professionals and demonstrating responsibility and dedication to FWD’s agents. His award is well-deserved.

The presenting of the Distinguished Manager Award and Distinguished Agent Award (DMA & DAA) is a highly anticipated event that recognizes outstanding insurance professionals who have demonstrated exceptional professionalism, outstanding performance, and rapid business growth in the past year.
